There are some books every teenage girl should read about love, sex and relationships.
Because, most teenagers are curious about sex. We were as teens, and our parents (and their parents) were curious too. We turned to books or magazines for our information. But teens today, turn to the internet to satisfy their curiosity.
Which means that instead of finding the right answer to their question, they are finding highly sexualised images and videos (pornography) instead. Not a good thing!
So often it is better to get in first and to provide your daughter with the right information, so that she doesn't need to turn to the internet to satisfy her curiosity. There are some books every teenage girl should read on this topic.

This English book provides a holistic approach to sex, focusing on the all the other things that go along with sex. It will help teens to quesiton the messages they receive about `normal' sex, how to understand and care for themselves, different ideas of pleasure for different bodies, ages and tastes, explores relationships, and tackles the tricky topics of communication and consent.
This book provides teenagers who are curious about sex, with an alternative to turning to the internet (and pornography) for information about sex. It provides them with everything they would possible want to know about masturbation, bodies and sex. It is the sort of book that I wish I'd had as a curious teen. It is explicit, does include sexual photos (my copy arrived sealed in a plastic bag) but it is written sensitively and not in a bragging way.
This book covers everything that teens need to know about love, relationships and sex. It covers a range of topics that are relevant to the sex education of teens: gender, sexual orientation, masturbation, self esteem, sexual intercourse, sexually transmitted infections, contraception and so much more.
This book covers everything that kids need to know about relationships, love and sex. It covers many topics, including conception, pregnancy & birth, sexual decision-making, contraception, unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, consent, sex and the law. And all written very age-appropriately. (This is what I call the beginners guide - it tells kids what they need to know but it is kept simple ie they aren't overwhelmed with lots of details!) This book is ideal for younger teens.
