If you're the parent of a teen boy, then you really do need to consider buying some books for teenage guys about sex.
In this day and age, it is more important than ever before that we provide teenage boys with accurate and reliable information about sex . When we were teens, we looked inside books or whispered with our friends to learn about sex. Teens today still whisper about sex with their friends but they also turn to the internet and search for answers to their questions online. Which means that they will often find sexually explicit images and videos (pornography) instead of an answer. Or they will find information that inaccurate and often promoting values that you don't want in your house.
Here you will find some fantastic books for teenage guys about sex that will provide boys with non-judgemental and accurate information about love, sex and relationships. The sort of information that you will wish that you had yourself, as a teenager growing up.
Here you will find some of the books for teenage guys about sex. You will find a video review where I show you through the book, as well as links to Amazon and Book Depository. The bookshop links are affiliate links, which means that I earn a small commission which I then to use to buy more books.
Dating and Sex: A guide for the 21st century teen boy by Andrw P. Smiler, is the book that all teenage boys need to have. It includes everything that they want to know as well as what they need to know. It is the sort of book that all teenage boys should have by their bedside.
This English book provides a holistic approach to sex, focusing on the all the other things that go along with sex. It will help teens to quesiton the messages they receive about `normal' sex, how to understand and care for themselves, different ideas of pleasure for different bodies, ages and tastes, explores relationships, and tackles the tricky topics of communication and consent.
This book provides teenagers who are curious about sex, with an alternative to turning to the internet (and pornography) for information about sex. It provides them with everything they would possible want to know about masturbation, bodies and sex. It is the sort of book that I wish I'd had as a curious teen. It is explicit, does include sexual photos (my copy arrived sealed in a plastic bag) but it is written sensitively and not in a bragging way.
This book covers everything that teens need to know about love, relationships and sex. It covers a range of topics that are relevant to the sex education of teens: gender, sexual orientation, masturbation, self esteem, sexual intercourse, sexually transmitted infections, contraception and so much more.
This book covers everything that kids need to know about relationships, love and sex. It covers many topics, including conception, pregnancy & birth, sexual decision-making, contraception, unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, consent, sex and the law. And all written very age-appropriately. (This is what I call the beginners guide - it tells kids what they need to know but it is kept simple ie they aren't overwhelmed with lots of details!) This book is ideal for younger teens.
These are some of the many books for teenage guys on sex that have been written. As I find more, I will add them to this list. They are all really good books that they can read to find reliable and accurate information about love, sex and relationships.
