There are some good puberty books for 13 year olds who might need some information about puberty.
Most of the books that are listed on this page will also talk about all the other things that go with puberty eg love, sex, relationships, etc.
To help with navigation, I have sorted them into a list ofr boys (or males) and girls (or females).
You'll find more information about puberty in my Puberty 101 page.
There are a lot of puberty books in this list which means it will be hard to make a choice.
because you all keep on pestering me I thought I would share the books that I always seem to keep on recommending for 13 year olds.
If you want a 'boy' book, then you might like Guy Talk or What's Going on Down There as they are simple but comprehensive. Puberty Boy is a really nice informative book that has a lot of information that is presented in a really nice way.
If you want a 'girl' book, then you might like Girl Talk or The Period Book (which is more about puberty than just periods). Puberty Girl is also a really nice book that is quite detailed and has a lovely gentle approach (plus it doesn't talk about sex).
And my new favourite puberty book which talks about everything (including love, relationships and sex) is Does This Happen to Everyone. It is very comprehensive but it is fun and not too confronting. The photos are excellent too!
