Hey there! I’m Cath Hak from Sex Ed Rescue, and I’m here to chat with you about a fantastic book called My Underpants Rule by Kate and Rod Power. This gem was published in 2015 and let me tell you, it’s a must-have for parents.

Now, Kate is a former policewoman who used to work with sexual abuse cases in the police force. She’s now a parent herself and has written this amazing book. It’s even endorsed by an organization in the UK, so you know it’s legit!

So, what’s this book all about? Well, it’s all about teaching kids that what’s under their underpants is private and just for them. It’s all about protective behaviors, you know? This is the kind of book you’ll want to read to your kids on a regular basis. You can either buy a collection of these books (which can be a great investment for three to four years), or you can borrow them from your local library. Just keep a little note on your fridge of the ones you want and borrow them one at a time. Easy peasy!

The book explains the golden rule: no one is allowed to touch what’s under our underpants, and if they do, we kick and shout! It even throws in a bit of silliness about farting, pooping, and peeing, because let’s face it, kids love that stuff. Plus, it covers different scenarios to reinforce the concept.

So, if you’re looking for a way to have a conversation about private parts with your little ones, this book is a winner. It’s a quick video from me today, but I hope you found it helpful. Cheers and take care! Bye!
