Was I in Mama’s Stomach, too? by Dagmar Geisler

Book Review

A short overview of this book

Was I in Mama’s Stomach, too? by Dagmar Geisler is a German book that provides the straightforward and frank approach that can be expected from European books.

I quite liked this book, mainly because it gives a great description of sexual intercourse. Most books for this age group will often rush over this part. This book doesn’t as it talks about how people meet and fall in love before they start a family of their own. It will also help with answering questions about sexual attraction, reproduction, pregnancy and birth.

It is an older book, so the conversation is based around a baby being made by a mum and a dad, with conception through penis-in-vagina sex and a vaginal birth. So if you are wanting an inclusive book, this may not be the best book for you.
