A Hug by Nicola Manton is a lovely book for younger children about consent. This book helps parents to start talking about hugging, in regards to giving hugs as well as receiving them. It teaches children that they can say yes or no to a hug, and discusses the alternatives to hugging eg a high five.

It’s a nice simple book that will help parents to get this important message across to their children.
