Hey there, it’s Cath Hak from Sex Ed Rescue! I wanted to tell you about these two awesome little self-published books I stumbled upon a few years ago. You can find them on Amazon by this guy named Christian Young Miller. They’re called Everyday Body Masturbates, and there’s one for boys and one for girls.

Now, these books may be small, around 45 pages, but they pack a punch! They use cute diagrams and simple words to tell a story about masturbation. You see, there are so many myths and misconceptions out there, especially in certain cultures and religions where it’s considered taboo. But these books aim to debunk those myths and shed some light on the subject.

Take a look at the cover of the boys’ book, for example. It shows a boy with a hairy hand. You know why? Because there’s this silly myth that if you masturbate too much, you’ll grow hair on your hands. Can you believe it? And get this, Kellogg’s Cornflakes was actually created as an anti-masturbation cereal! They marketed it as a way to prevent it. Crazy, right?

But here’s the thing: in today’s world, we have a different perspective. We believe that masturbation is natural and a normal part of your body. If you want to touch yourself, go for it! Of course, there are no hard and fast rules, but there’s some etiquette and expected behavior that comes with it. And that’s exactly what these books address.

They talk about what masturbation is, why it feels good, and who does it. Spoiler alert: everyone does it! Well, okay, some people choose not to, and some people do it more than others. But the point is, it’s a personal choice. And hey, let’s talk about where it’s appropriate, shall we? Definitely not at the kitchen table or in the park. And definitely not with your friends in your bedroom! We’ll also touch on hygiene because, let’s face it, little boys’ hands can get pretty smelly if they’ve been down their pants all day. So, we cover all those important details.

These books do a fantastic job of normalizing masturbation and addressing any fears or taboos surrounding it. They’re written in a sensitive and caring way that makes it easy to have open conversations about the topic. So, if you’re looking for a book that can help you start that conversation with your child, this is a great choice.

Oh, and speaking of kids, my eleven-year-old recently saw the book and found it quite interesting. So, I think it’s suitable for children around the age of seven or eight and up. If you have a child who may be struggling to understand that masturbation is something done in private, reading this book together can be a helpful way to explain that it’s a normal thing we all do, but there’s a time and place for it.

I hope this review helps you out! I’m really glad I bought these books, and I think you’ll find them valuable too. Cheers!
