Free Guide: Sex Education for Neurodivergent Kids
For parents of autistic and ADHD kids who want a clearer way to approach sex ed without making it feel bigger or harder than it needs to be.

If you’re not sure where to start, this guide will help you understand what sex education actually includes, why it can feel different with neurodivergent kids, and what it means to feel prepared.
What you’ll get:
→ A clearer picture of what sex education actually includes
→ Insight into why it can feel more complicated with autistic and ADHD kids
→ Reassurance about what matters most — and what doesn’t
→ A more practical starting point for future conversations
👋 Hi, I’m Cath Hakanson
I’m a qualified sex educator, sexual health nurse, and founder of Sex Ed Rescue.
For over 30 years, I’ve helped parents talk about bodies, puberty, relationships, and sex in ways that are clear, practical, and age-appropriate.
I’m also an autistic ADHDer mum of two neurodivergent kids, so I understand that these conversations can feel different when your child learns differently.
My work focuses on clear, neuro-affirming sex education that supports children’s safety and autonomy — and gives parents a more solid place to start.
