William’s Doll by Charlotte Zolotow is a lovely story about gender stereotypes.
This book is an old one (but a good one) and tells the story of a little boy who wants a doll. The overall message is that there is nothing wrong with boys who play with dolls. A great book for talking about gender stereotypes.
William’s Doll by Charlotte Zolotow is ideal for children between the ages of 5 – 8 years of age.
