Book Review: Cards that parents can use to start conversations with girls about being a woman.
A short overview of this book
Womanwise Cards by Jane Bennett and Andrew Lines are designed to help parents and educators to support important, developmentally-appropriate, conversations with girls about growing up.
These cards are fantastic and are a great tool for starting conversations with your tween or teen girl, about what it means to be a woman. Topics include my future, my mind, my philosophy, my relationships, my self, my body. Each card asks a significant question, with the back providing you with other questions, that will enrich the conversation on that point. I love them and I think they are a great tool for educators, as well as for parents who need some ideas on how to start conversations.
What’s the ideal age for this book?
These cards would be ideal for parents to use with kids aged 10 and older.
