What’s the big deal about puberty

Short Summary

What’s the Big Deal About Puberty is a fantastic two-hour online workshop for 9 to 12 year olds about puberty. It is fun, educational, age-appropriate and is the creation of Rowena Thomas from Amazing Me! It is a great way to get information into your child about puberty, and is an easy way to get conversations started!

So how does it work? You buy it and receive an email with information on how to access it. You log in, watch the parent video by yourself, and download and print the activity book. You then let your child know that you have a fun workshop for the two of you to watch about puberty and start watching it together.

What if my child is resistant? LOL, do what I did and offer an incentive (AKA bribery). At the end of the day, what matters is that they watch it with you. So if you have to bribe them (like I did with my kid), it doesn’t really matter. Yes, they may be a little reluctant, but the workshop is designed to be interactive, which means they will be engaged regardless of whether they are willing (or not)!
