The best books for teenage guys (about sex)
If you’re the parent of a teen boy, then you may some books for teenage guys that are written about sex.
In this day and age, it is more important than ever before that we provide teens with accurate and reliable information about sex. When we were teens, we looked inside books or whispered to our friends to learn about sex. Teens today still whisper about sex with their friends, but they also turn to the internet and search for answers to their questions online. This means that they will often find sexually explicit images and videos (pornography) instead of an answer. Or they will find inaccurate information that often promotes values you don’t want in your house.
Here, you will find some fantastic books for teens about sex that will provide boys with non-judgemental and accurate information about love, sex and relationships – the sort of information that you will wish that you had yourself, as a teenager growing up.
Most of the books that are marketed as being for boys assume that your child is cis-gender, i.e. identifies as a boy, guy or man and has a penis, testicles and scrotum. So they are not what you would call ‘gender-diverse’.

NOTE: Before passing any book to your child or reading it with them, you should read it yourself first. I might think it is a great book for a certain age child or that the information is valuable, but you may disagree. Try to choose books that reflect your values and the messages you want your child to receive.
